– There were no budget appropriations bills passed last year. This will be a big deal for 2018. The Fed plans to raise rates.
– Majority of the tax revenue collected (two-thirds), is all allocated towards Social Security, Pensions, and other entitlements. These are set in stone.
– Meanwhile Medicare and Medicaid are expanding which will cause a problem to pay back Social Security and the Pensions.
– We are bankrupt and haven’t filed the papers yet.
